Greetings!

Since my last newsletter at the beginning of the year, I have been focusing my time and energy on developing C3 TeamBuilding into one of the best team building services around. As most of you know, we provide customized team building programs, using cooking as the catalyst, ranging in scope from a specific team element and issue focus to social ice breaker themed events for businesses and work groups.

Since January, I have been hard at work developing business relationships with coaching and training companies, collaborating with them as a behavior module for their programs. This has been a big success.

I have also been writing about my experiences as a team builder, business owner, and entrepreneur via my Blog with the intention to offer learned insights and wisdom with this adventure.

To keep up with what's going on with the business, I invite you to visit the Blog and Website frequently. I would also appreciate any feedback and suggestions you may have about our e-newsletter to ensure it stays interesting and valuable to you.

Enjoy the summer!

One of my best friends gave me a book about a guy who conquered his dream to golf the top 100 courses in the US. I’ll admit I am no golfer, but the nuggets of wisdom he took away from his experience really resonated with me. I’ve since had the opportunity to meet him, and Larry Berle is a class act. If you have a dad, spouse, boy/girlfriend that loves to golf, buy him (or her) A GOLFER'S DREAM: How a Regular Guy Conquered The Golf Digest List Of America’s Top 100 Golf Courses. If you’d like this for a Father’s Day gift, and you’d like to get it personalized, just contact him as Fathers day is less than three weeks away, to purchase it.

When dealing with challenges go face to face, not via email
By Marshall O'Brien

I hope email doesn't t end up taking the place of a good old face to face conversation. Of course there are obvious advantages with the digital age. We're super busy, so we drop an email to say "hi". Hey it works. It's better than nothing at all, I agree. However, a HUGE disadvantage I see with email is when it's used for dealing with confrontation. You're probably squirming just a bit thinking about this Pandora's box. Read More...
